Blueberry Butter - Certified Organic contains lyophilized (freeze dried), Certified Organic whole blueberries that are micronized into a fine particle dispersion; we then combined this with a proprietary blend of other USDA NOP* Organic ingredients to form a luxurious, soft and spreadable version of the fruit in anhydrous form. Formulators will now be able to add the nutrient and anti-oxidant rich attributes of this fruit to their formulas in a completely new and innovative way!
Free radicals can damage cell membranes and DNA through a process known as oxidative stress, and are blamed for many of the dysfunctions and diseases associated with aging. Blueberries are rich in anthocyanins, which are a key component of the blueberry’s antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

Very important!: This butter contains micronized fruit powder held in a viscous suspension. After melting, vigorous mixing while cooling is necessary for a homogenous re-solidification and to prevent precipitation.
