Pomegranate Butter - Certified Organic from Biochemica International combines organically grown pomegranate fruit with a proprietary blend of other USDA NOP* organic ingredients to form a skin nourishing, soft and spreadable version of the fruit in anhydrous form. This Super Fruit Butter contains lyophilized (freeze dried), Certified Organic whole Pomegranate Arils (fruit-like seed coverings) which are micronized into a fine particle dispersion.
Free radicals can damage skin cell membranes and DNA through a process known as oxidative stress, and are blamed for many of the dysfunctions and diseases associated with skin aging. After melting, vigorous mixing while cooling is necessary for a homogenous re-solidification and to prevent precipitation. The above product is free from infestation and foreign material.
